Mbappe is set to leave Paris at the end of the season, after seven seasons in the French capital. It would seem to leave Luis Enrique's side shorthanded ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, but the manager has insisted that the Parisians will improve without their superstar.

In a press conference, Luis Enrique elaborated on the Ligue 1 leaders' prospects when Mbappe leaves: "I know that if everything goes well, next season, we will have a better team from all perspectives: offensively, defensively, tactically. I have no doubt about it."

Mbappe informed the Parisians that he plans to leave the club in early February, and has reportedly verbally agreed on a long-term contract to stay in Madrid. PSG have already been linked with a number of replacements, including Rafael Leao, Victor Osimhen and Marcus Rashford.
