Koumas has found himself at the centre of three-way tussle, with the north Wales and west Midlands outfits being joined by Sheffield United in trying to sign him. Wrexham have registered their interest, potentially adding to the ten players already new to their books this summer, including the recent addition of 21-year-old Callum Doyle from Manchester City.

Koumas is a highly-rated forward who enjoyed a successful loan spell at Stoke City last season, valuable experience for both Tom Brady's Birmingham and the Welsh outfit owned by superstar actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Koumas featured twice in Liverpool's pre-season, but only played a total of 57 minutes.
