Manchester United are set to be at full-strength for this evening's Champions League clash against Valencia.
Sir Alex Ferguson rested the majority of his first-team stars for last week's 4-0 Carling Cup quarter-final defeat at West Ham to keep them fresh for the Premier League outing at Blackpool on Saturday which was subsequently postponed due to the adverse weather conditions.
However, following a weekend break, Ferguson is now likely to pitch the likes of Edwin van der Sar, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov for the game against the Spanish outfit.
Jonny Evans and Wes Brown did not train on Monday, while Michael Owen and Owen Hargreaves are longer-term absentees.
United need just a point to finish top of Group C, which would ensure they avoid the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona in the last-16 draw, while they will also look to avoid conceding a goal at Old Trafford which would mean they have kept clean sheets in all six of their group matches.
"If you get Barcelona on one of their good days they can do that to anyone," said Ferguson.
"It was a marvellous performance [against Real Madrid last week] but even before the Champions League started they would have been one of the favourites.
"Like everyone else, they have days when they can be beaten but the sensible approach is to avoid the bigger hitters and we can only do that if we do finish first in our group."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
