Following Kevin De Bruyne's announcement that he was set to leave Manchester City after the expiration of his contract at the end of this season, speculation has been rife as to where he will go next. Rumors and reports have indicated a potential move to Saudi Arabia but reports have also stated MLS could be a potential destination for the Belgian and Neville believes it would be perfect. The Manchester United icon admitted the former Chelsea and Wolfsburg star would fit in superbly in both the country and the league.
“No, I think it [MLS] would be a great destination for De Bruyne. I can see him fitting into America, the American way of life, and obviously the game’s improving enormously over there," he said on the podcast The Overlap US. "I think he would sign for Inter Miami if they came to him. I think it’s perfect for Kevin De Bruyne, I can’t think of a player that would suit better going over there and sorta finishing his career, I think it’d be the perfect end for him."
