As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United are set to be without injured trio Liam Cooper, Kemar Roofe and Andy Lonergan for this weekend’s clash against Sheffield Wednesday in the English Championship.
Cooper suffered a leg injury in the side’s recent defeat to Wolverhampton Wanders, while Roofe has been out of action since last month after sustaining a calf injury last month.
Lonergan has been on the bench for the majority of the season but has struggled with a neck injury over the last few weeks.
They all need longer to recover, meaning Paul Heckingbottom’s squad has taken a hit ahead of the visit of the Owls.
Fans though aren’t concerned, with all three players receiving criticism for under par performances this season.
Cooper has been part of a defence that is shipping far too many goals right now while Roofe’s form has been inconsistent throughout, despite netting 12 goals in all competitions.
